First Church Fellowship

It is through fellowship with one another that we learn to care for each other as Christ cares for us.

Detail:

All-Church (Intergenerational) Fellowship Events

Totally Fun Advent Adventure is the liturgical season of Advent (the season starts four weeks before Christmas and ends at Christmas). There is a focus on families with children, so there are crafts and specific activities for all ages, plus a meal and fellowship time.

Lent Event is the liturgical season of Lent (the season begins six weeks before Easter and ends at Easter Sunday), and focuses on the Christ event, with crafts and special activities related to the season are provided for children and adults.

All-Church Picnic is a time when everyone in the church, plus friends and relatives gather at a park or the beach in the San Diego area, bring a dish to share and enjoy fun, food and fellowship. There are special fun activities for children and adults.

Ice Cream Social is during the summer months of either July or August. Sponsored by the Faith in the Family Sunday School Class it is a time for the people of First Church to engage in fellowship and indulge themselves in a variety of ice cream flavors. It is held on the patio of the Cove of the United Methodist Center.

All-Church Family Camp is held at Camp Cedar Glenn, a United Methodist Camp facility just outside the small town of Julian, California. It is a weekend event with group activities for all ages, including activities designed especially for children. Meals are provided by the camp facility, and participants stay in cabins. Contact Rev.
