The
Olive Tree Players
Welcome! We are the Olive Tree
Players of Mission Valley. Our theatre group was formed in early
2002. This year we are very pleased to be celebrating our fifth
year as the only playgoer’s theatre in Mission Valley. We are a
Christian-based theatre group that offers a variety of plays,
events, and activities to the members of the First United
Methodist Church and to the San Diego Community.
Throughout the year we offer to
our members, and the community the opportunity to participate
(as audience, performer, or technical person) in various events
and activities. Including major productions, biblical vignettes,
Playgoer’s Series, play reading nights and other special events.
Besides entertainment and
education, our goal is to create a sense of “theatre community”
for each and every person who desires to be an active
participant. We believe that we are accomplishing this because
of the wonderful amount of interest and participation our
members, and all of the San Diego arts patrons, have generously
offered our theatre group over the past five years. We thank you
all!
