During the year the Olive Tree Players of First United Methodist Church of San Diego, CA produce one to two major productions, including fully staged plays or shows, Reader’s Theatre Productions and a Night of One Acts.

The Christmas Production for 2006 is The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, written by Barbara Robinson; produced by special arrangement with Samuel French, Inc.; directed by Erin McWay, Olive Tree Players Leadership Team. This is the second time Olive Tree Players has done this play. They are bringing it back as a new and different version than they did five years ago. This year the group will produce the original version of the play, written by the same author as the book, The Best Christmas Pageant. In addition, the group has produced such shows such as: It’s a Wonderful Life, Elvis and the Angels, The Gift of The Magi, and The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe.
