Sunday, October 28, 2018, 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM
Troy Hebblethwaite and Pastor Licht have teamed up to plan a “Maid-Rite Nite” at First Church, using a “copycat” version of the 92-year-old secret recipe for Maid-Rites which they both possess! Maid-Rite Restaurants are a mid-west chain of 70 franchises, with plans for another 1,000 across the US. Maid-Rites are not traditional hamburgers, but rather “loose meat” sandwiches, loved by many mid-westerners and made with special spices and ingredients!
“Maid-Rite Nite @ First” will be from 5 – 7 PM on Sunday, October 28 in Linder Hall.
Cost: $10 for two "maid-rites" sandwiches, chips, beans & a drink. Buy Maid-Rites Nite tickets...
A Pie Bake-off will be open to all, with prizes awarded at 6 PM for the best pies determined by Troy & Pastor Ken.
Proceeds will be designated for “A Christian Ministry in the National Parks.”
Help is needed in preparing the Maid-Rite meat, and those who offer to help will get the “secret recipe.” Email or Pastor Ken to offer your assistance.
The dinner will be followed with a concert by the 10-piece Westwind Brass Ensemble at 7 PM in the Sanctuary, sponsored by the Cultural Events Committee.
