The History Project

Historic Photos:


The Sanctuary at 9th and C downtown, 1907-1964, designed by noted architect Irving Gill.


The Methodist Block, our home from 1887 to 1907,
included retail shops.


The first church building constructed by our congregation was dedicated on February 17, 1870, on Horton Plaza.


Dunham Hall served as our meeting place from 1869 to 1870.


The old army barracks was the meeting place for the first worship service of the Methodist Society on February 6, 1869.
