United Methodist Men
A chapter of the national United Methodist Men organization, Men’s Ministry has something for every man — young or old, working or retired, single or married —who wants to form friendships, grow in the Christian faith, and serve others. Our mission is “to encourage and equip men to be in Christian ministry at home, in church, at work, and in the world.”
First Monday Potluck
is every first Monday of the month (holidays, 2nd Monday) at 6:00 p.m. in Linder Lounge for food, fun, fellowship and an invited guest speaker. There is no charge, and reservations are never required; just come, and bring a pizza, salad, dessert, drink or other item to share.
Friday Breakfast
at Denny’s restaurant, 1065 Camino del Rio South, every Friday, 7:00 to 8:00 a.m. Come for good fellowship, conversation, and food.
Annual Men's Retreat
The men's retreat is scheduled for April 2009 on beautiful Mt. Palomar at Palomar Christian Conference Center featuring two nights, five meals, program, activities, and comfortable accommodations. Watch for details.
Padres Baseball
Each year in the summer we take in a Padres game at Petco Park. Watch the Outlook newsletter for details.
Service Projects
United Methodist Men participate in service projects and help with all-church picnics and other events.

Padres play the Arizona Diamondbacks at 7:05 p.m. Tickets are $25 each (half price). The Galapagos Islands are home to many unique species of plants and animals. Machu Picchu, the Inka site in Peru, was voted one of the New Seven Wonders of the World.
See these two UNESCO World Heritage Sites close up and learn about efforts to preserve these endangered treasures.
All are invited and reservations are never necessary. Just come and bring a pizza, salad, dessert, drink or other item to share.
