Asking “Where does it hurt?” isn’t just asking about physical pain – it’s also about emotional pain. But in today’s culture, we’re not always comfortable with asking and listening to people’s authentic response. So, Rev. Brittany and Rev. Hannah take another pass at this question, examining what we should (and shouldn’t!) do and how to show empathy.
