Ruth and Naomi are grieving the lost of their male family members, left with no social or financial capital, and are unanchored in the world. Rev. Brittany and Rev. Hannah use that biblical story to look at the status of the Church today.
With the advent of new technologies and the increasing busyness of life, there are more choices and variables than ever before – further fragmenting and diminishing the number of congregants at each church.
Listen in as these two clergy women of First United Methodist Church of San Diego give their take on the future of the Church and the opportunities that unfold when we let go of the past, live in the realities of the present, and pave the way for a new reality.
