4/5 - PALM SUNDAY
- Trad. Worship | 9 AM | Live-stream | Rev. Trudy Robinson
- Cont. Worship | 10 AM | Live-stream | Rev. Jessica Strysko
Since we are unable to distribute palms this year, we're inviting you and your family to make your own palms to wave during our Palm Sunday service. You can use any kind of paper, and if you don't have popsicle sticks, tape a couple of pencils together instead. Have fun, be creative, and as we sing our opening hymn on Palm Sunday, wave those palms with excitement!

4/9 - MAUNDY THURSDAY
7:30 PM | Holy Communion/Love Feast | Live-stream
Maundy, from the Latin word meaning "mandate," we recall Jesus saying, "I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you.” This service honors Jesus’ Last Supper and the commemoration of the sacrament of Holy Communion.
Ahead of the live-streamed Maundy Thursday service, you are invited to drive through the church parking lot to receive a pastoral blessing from a safe distance and pick up pre-packaged and consecrated Communion elements.
DRIVE-BY PICK-UP OF HOLY COMMUNION ELEMENTS
- Sunday, April 5 | 1 -3 PM | P2
- Thursday, April 9 | 4-6 PM | P2
How does it work? Enter from the west driveway, turn left into parking lot P-2, and receive the blessing from a pastor. The number of Communion elements needed for your household will be placed on a table so that you can drive forward and pick them up, and then exit from the east driveway. We ask that you remain in your car for the entire time you're on campus,
The Communion liturgy will be offered by Rev. Trudy Robinson, and we will receive Holy Communion for those who are able to pick up the consecrated elements, or a Love Feast for those who were unable to leave their home safely. Together, through communion or a love feast, we will honor the sacred meal Jesus commemorated for us during this worship. If you are unable to join us for this live-streamed service, click HERE to find a resource that allows you to remember and celebrate any meal in your own home in honor of Jesus.
Please then plan to livestream the Maundy Thursday worship service on 4/9 at 7:30 PM.
4/10 - GOOD FRIDAY
7:30 PM | Live-stream
Continue hearing the story of Jesus’ passion on Good Friday as we live-stream a service of Tennebrae (darkness). Through scripture, music, silence and contemplation, we will remember the One who gave his life for us.
4/12 - EASTER SUNDAY
We will remember this, as we livestream Easter morning worship, according to what is needed during this threat of Coronavirus. Nonetheless, we will celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus Christ! Join us from your own homes for a traditional worship at 9 a.m. and the Water’s Edge contemporary worship at 10 a.m.
This year, more than any other, might feel more like the first Easter morning. When the women arrived at the tomb unsure of what the future held, ready to face again the grief they felt, only to discover the tomb was empty. It took some time for the early Christians to reconcile this new reality with how they previously understood life. Unlike our more recent celebrations of Easter, there was no immediate trumpet blast, choir anthems, or joyous celebration. Instead, they hesitantly stepped into the possibilities.
