Lessons from the Age of Radio presented by Stephen Goforth
Christians have always questioned whether new technologies help or hurt the place and value of sacred texts, both in society and in the church. Drawing on his personal and professional experience, Stephen Goforth will explore the lessons to be gleaned from the rise of radio and its recent fading into the background. Should Christians today embrace or avoid digital communications? Should they encourage or dissuade others from doing the same?
Stephen Goforth is an Assistant Professor of Journalism at Point Loma Nazarene University. Formerly an anchor, writer and producer at CNN, he is author of Media Shift: Journalism in a Connected World.
