35th Annual California Coastal Cleanup Day in San Diego County, hosted by I Love A Clean San Diego. Our group has registered to volunteer at the Ocean Beach Pier on Saturday,  Meet on the grass next to the lifeguard tower at the end of Newport Avenue, just north of the OB Pier.

Please note: EVERY participant at Coastal Cleanup Day needs to sign a waiver. These will be available at every site the day of the event. If you would like to save time at check-in, please download the waiver and have it signed before you show up.

All participants under the age of 18 need a parent or legal guardian signature to participate so please plan ahead!

They are hoping to mobilize over 8,000 volunteers at 100+ sites throughout San Diego County! We plan to register our group to volunteer in OB. Last year on Coastal Cleanup Day, 6,808 volunteers at 106 sites removed 138,499 pounds of litter and debris, as well as completed special projects like painting, planting, and removing invasive plants to help restore our environment.

More info available at www.CleanupDay.orgDirections and maps included.  Event waiver required by all participants (parent/guardian signature mandatory for volunteers under the age of eighteen) will also be available on the website shortly under “Event Info”. See you then!
