Sanctuary Weddings

Our sanctuary seats 500 people comfortably and can accommodate up to 600 guests. The spacious chancel offers a beautiful focal point for your ceremony and ample space for large wedding parties.

A floor-to-ceiling glass window provides your guests a tranquil view of the garden and landscaped hillside. And the pipe organ and stained-glass windows provide special details from every angle, ensuring your ceremony is beautiful and memorable.

Trotter Chapel Weddings

Our modern chapel accommodates up to 100 guests, making it the perfect place for an intimate ceremony. It offers bright, natural lighting and a small pipe organ, displaying modern beauty in its simplicity.

Wedding Package

Our Wedding Ceremony Package includes:
  • One-hour rehearsal
  • 3-hour time block on the wedding day, including set-up, pre/post ceremony photos, ceremony, and clean-up
  • Wedding coordinator: 1 hour rehearsal and 3 hours on the wedding day
  • Officiant: one of the pastors currently serving FUMCSD; any exception requires conversation with a pastor on staff – officiant will meet up to 3 times with couple prior to wedding day to ensure wedding is tailored to you
  • Organist on the FUMCSD staff: Provides Wedding Ceremony Repertoire List to choose your ceremony prelude & selections for ceremony processional, grand entrance, recessional, and other key moments; fees may increase based on the specially requested number of pieces and extra rehearsal time
  • Audio/Video Technician: Basic sound set up and monitoring, including support for family-provided video/slideshow
  • Private rooms for wedding parties to get ready
  • Ample parking
Fees: All checks made payable to FUMCSD

A non-refundable $500 deposit is due at time of reservation. The remaining balance is due 6 weeks prior to the day of the wedding. If you're a FUMCSD member, please contact the church office for special pricing.

  • Sanctuary Ceremony: $4,500
  • Trotter Chapel Ceremony: $2,250
Ceremony Add Ons
  • FUMCSD Vocalist/Vocal Ensemble: $150 per vocalist and $250 for choral director (if needed); choir can offer a musical selection upon request. Fees may increase based on the number of pieces requested and extra rehearsal time.
  • Live Streaming Package: $400
  • Additional Time: $600/hour for staff and space beyond 3 hours
Wedding Reception Details & Fees

Space rental fee:

  • Linder Lounge / Linder Patio (seating for 50): $700, up to 3 hours
  • Linder Hall (seating for 120): $1,250, up to 3 hours - inquire about pricing for additional space for up to 300 guests

Set-up & custodial service fee:
Based on the number of persons anticipated

  • Up to 50 persons: $50
  • 51-100 persons: $100
  • 101-150 persons: $150
  • Over 150 persons: $150, plus $50 for each additional 50 persons

Refreshments and Plating must be catered or supplied by the family or friends.

Flowers can be delivered to the church office a day prior to the ceremony from 9 AM to 4 PM, Monday through Friday.
